Meet Meredith
Therapist, MSW, LSW, (Licensed Social Worker), she/her
Hi! I’m Meredith. I’m here to support you in moving toward the version of yourself that feels grounded and whole. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed, and I strive to help you feel empowered and heard. Healing takes care and time, and everyone’s path is unique! I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate the ups and downs of life, building insights and skills to help manage the harder parts along the way.
I enjoy collaborating with tweens, teens, and young adults as they navigate challenges related to identity exploration, traumatic experiences, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I tailor my therapeutic approach to best support you and to meet you where you are. I prioritize creating a space that is warm and judgement-free, where you are encouraged to come as you are. Whether that means kicking off your shoes, sitting on the floor, or cozying up on the couch, my approach is always rooted in authenticity and comfort. Healing can look like crying, laughing, and maybe even both at the same time - there is room for all of it here!
In my work, I draw from evidence-based theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Affirmative Therapy. Additionally, I love to incorporate creative ways to express and explore challenges, including art, music, and other forms of artistic expression. Let’s get creative and work together to find out what is most helpful for you!
As a social worker and therapist, I am passionate about providing a supportive, inclusive, and anti-oppressive space for clients of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities. I strive to provide an LGBTQIA+ affirming space and aim to cultivate an environment where intersecting identities are explored, valued, and celebrated. I look forward to connecting with you to explore whether working together feels right for you! I see clients in person in our Blue Ash office, or virtually in Ohio. I look forward to meeting you, and I am so glad you’re here.
When I’m Not Counseling…
You can find me hiking, camping, rock climbing, or learning a new craft. I also love to snuggle up with a good book and my two cats, Mr. Beans and Luigi!
